A family friend who was born and raised in Eastern Stark County, Ohio tells me of stories he heard from his Grandfather dating back to the 1930s of Big Foot sighting near their farm in Paris, Ohio. Most of the recent sightings of Big Foot, I believe, are related to the hysteria prompted by all of the “reality” type shows running on TV lately. However, there seems to be an underlying element of truth to sightings that predate television and when they corroborate current sightings, maybe just maybe…
Take a look at this current sighting from Ashtabula, Ohio on Aug 11, 2013. That’s something, Jody!

Here are a couple websites to get you started and although it is late in the summer there are plenty of events on the schedule between now and the end of the year.
It was a pretty exciting weather day yesterday. While the tornado sirens were screaming and the rain was coming down in sheets, I received this photo from a friend’s son shot from his office. This would be a little too close for comfort in my humble opinion, but he was outside reveling in the exciting weather. Read more about the tornado here.
